Become a Federated Trade Association

BATF is a company limited by guarantee, which means it is owned by its members.  If you are an organisation struggling on your own in the jewellery, giftware, homeware, surface engineering and travelgoods and accessories or any similar industry sectors then you may want to consider becoming part of the BATF.

Federating with BATF will allow you to look after your Members, whilst we look after you.  Federated Associations focus on their core activities efficiently and cost effectively, knowing that key business support services are being carried out on their behalf by BATF saving them time and resources, these include:

• Facilities management - their accomodation in Federation House
• Accounting and company secretarial services - BATF is the legal entity, therefore you don't have to be.
• IT, CRM and telecommunications systems
• HR and Health and Safety
• International services - helping Members to import and export
• Membership management - database management
• Lobbying
• Facilities to hold conferences, receptions, training, seminars and other events. 

Our Federated Associations remain completely independent under our umbrella.  Being part of a larger organisation means your enterprise will have greater strength in numbers and a louder voice when raising issues to Government and other regional, national and international influential bodies.
